The language is detected automatically from the audio, so surveyors do not need to change any settings before recording. Where a surveyor speaks a mix of languages within the same note, for example switching between English and Polish when describing a technical item, the transcription engine handles this without requiring the recording to be split.
Technical vocabulary support varies by language. UK English has the most comprehensive sector-specific vocabulary, covering construction, FM, healthcare estates, and utilities terminology. Other languages use a broader general vocabulary, which means very specialised terms may occasionally need manual correction during the review step.
If your organisation works in a language that is not yet fully supported or requires specific technical vocabulary in a non-English language, the admin settings allow custom terminology to be added.
